Felix founded Position Logic and is the company’s Applications Architect . Felix has over 20 years of experience in the software development industry, with positions as senior engineer for Books Are Fun, software developer consultant for Security Benefit Group, senior professional service consultant and architect for MediaBrains Inc., and Cygnus Track architect, product manager, and sales manager. He has extensive knowledge and experience with full life cycle multi-user client/server development, full life cycle e-commerce/intranet development, relational database design and implementation, and architecting and building scalable reusable frameworks. Felix has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and is a Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.
As Vice President of Location Based Services, Hong oversees strategic technology and the product roadmap, as well as the development & implementation of new technology and business solutions. Hong has over 20 years of experience in the technology & more specifically the Location Based Services industry. Prior to Position Logic. Hong served as Vice President of Technology at MediaBrains a leader in Lead Management for the publishing industry. Before MediaBrains Hong was Manager at Quilogy Inc, and is a Microsoft Certified trainer, and Consultant. Mr. Long has earned an MBA and a BBA in Management Information Systems from Drake University and a PMP from Project Management Institute. Hong is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, and Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
Ariel attended Baruch College in New York working towards a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Ariel is originally from the Bronx in New York City and relocated to Southwest Florida 15 years ago. As Director of Operations he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations side of the business. His primary responsibility is to maintain & improve efficiencies within the organization with an objective of always exceeding client expectations and client satisfaction. Ariel is also responsible for managing the support process stemming from the Help Desk all the way to initiating and managing project timelines within the company. Ariel has more than 21 years of experience working with Application Service Providers including working as the Director of Internet Operations at CMP Media where he managed the development of one of the first Ad Serving platforms in the industry. Ariel also worked as Business Analyst and Director of Sales for MediaBrains Inc.
Ray joined the Position Logic team in Spring of 2013 as our Controller in charge of accounting and financial reporting. He has over 17 years of accounting and financial management experience in both public and private companies. His previous experience includes Corporate Controller at Card Dynamix LLC, Accudata Integrated Marketing, Controller at R.L. Leek Industries Inc and District Accounting Manager at United Rentals Highway Tech. His experience with management of accounting staff, budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis gives him a broad spectrum of experience that is invaluable to Position Logic team. He is a Certified Public Accountant, has a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Accounting from Illinois State University.
Jing Li has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, having served as a senior software developer at both Fischer International and MediaBrains. As Position Logic’s IT Manager, Jing both directs activities within the development department and has also played a key role in designing and architecting Position Logic’s GPS tracking products. He has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, and is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.
Herman is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Loyola University. His sales team is based in Orlando, Florida where they are responsible for serving clients in over 44 countries. Prior to Position Logic, Herman worked for over six years at HSBC North America in Consumer Lending Division as a successful sales manager. His specialty included conducting sales training, contract negotiations, and turning around many failing branch operations into profitable high ranking divisional centers. Herman also worked many years in his family’s business helping it grow from a small shop into a diversified group of companies. In the spare time, Herman enjoys to spend time with family, fish, and the Florida beaches. A one word description of Herman: TENACIOUS.
Carlos has extensive sales experience including positions as Account Executive for HSBC and JP Morgan Chase with a successful proven sales track record. Carlos also held important positions in finance with leading companies such as The World Bank, Mattel Inc., and Colgate Palmolive in Colombia. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa and has received training with International Organizations such as The World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC), in Washington, D.C.
Laska is originally from Brazil, where she moved from to live in Cleveland, Ohio where she studied towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Laska has extensive sales experience. Prior to Position Logic, Laska worked over 6 years for State Farm and was an Award-winning Insurance Sales Manager with extensive national and international sales experience. She was the office’s highest grossing salesperson for many consecutive years. She has received Associate Elite True Award and was also Top Sales Platinum Level Plaque Recipient. Laska is trilingual; she is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Carlos is a graduate from The Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota with a Degree in Communications specializing in Marketing and Advertising, as well as a degree from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Design, Advertising & Marketing. Carlos experience comes from years of working at Leo Burnett Colombia as part of the Creative Department and as the Marketing Director at Congrupo a ConAgra subsidiary. As an entrepreneur Carlos managed a Computers and Supplies Business owned by his family with national distribution channels. Carlos and his family made Florida their home back in 1998 where he became involved in the health insurance industry and established himself as an independent Insurance Broker. Carlos has been involved with Position Logic since its beginning in roles in marketing and business development. Today as Vice President of Sales his passion and understanding of customer care and his skill as a marketing communicator contribute to the company growth.
Mark joined the Position Logic family in early 2013 as a Vice President of Sales, with a focus on the North American Market. He has more than 30 years of experience with sales in IT, management and business equipment. More than 20 years of this experience corresponding to the IT sector. He graduated from Cayuga Community College with an Associate Degree in Computer Science. Previous experience includes Business Development Associate at Flexi Software, where he sold accounting software solutions, and ASG Software, where he was the Executive Account Manager in charge of selling IT solutions in a range of markets. Selling to a broad spectrum of needs within the IT field and catering to customer needs makes Mark a valuable sales resource for the Position Logic team. He looks forward to dealing with customers in the North American market and is committed to giving them the best first impression of Position Logic.
