Release Notes 12/4/12

Update:  Sort Column Feature Added to Manage Users Group Access

Benefit to Users:

This Update to the Manage User Group Access provides the client with the Sort Feature seen throughout the Platform.  Prior to this Release, Users were not able to Sort the Columns in the User List.  This update will allow Users to easily sort the User List by either Full Name or Username.  Users now have the sort feature that is so frequently used throughout the Platform, on the Manage Users Group Access.

Highlight:

By bringing the Sort Feature to the User List of Manage User Group Access, Users can easily sort the Users.  This provides the Users with an easily alphabetized list that can be viewed in forward or reverse order.  By providing this update, Users are able to quickly sort through the data.  Before this update, Users with a large amount of clients, had data that was very unorganized.  We are happy to provide this Update that is sure to prevent many headaches and confusion!

This Enhancement to the Routing Feature, will allow users to gather results that are truly accurate to them.  By including exactly how many Items to include, Users are able to quickly view where the Items are located in reference to the Item, Address or Landmark they are viewing.  This Enhancement is especially beneficial to clients using the Routing Feature of the Platform to quickly locate all Items in relation to a specific location.  Currently, this Enhancement is only available to Users with the Track2 Mapping System.

Enhancement: Routing Closest Item, Locate Items

Benefit to Users:

This Enhancement to the Routing Feature of the Platform, allows the user to select the number of Items to include in the ‘Find Closest Item’ option.  Prior to this Release, Users did not have an option when using this feature.  By adding this option, Users are able to enter in the exact number of Items they would like to Locate.  Users can enter a value as low as 0 all the way up to 99.

Bug Fix:  History Info Pop-Up, No Name on Open Layer Maps

Issue:

Users were finding that the History Information Pop-Up, was not displaying the Item Name within the Open Layer Maps.  This was occurring on all users with Open Layer Maps but, only when viewing the Information in the History Area of the Tracking Tab.

Users who were experiencing this bug, only saw the name listed as ‘Unit Details’ rather than ‘Unit Details for (Device Name.’  This was causing confusion for Users and forcing them to verify the exact Unit they were receiving.  Rather than having all correct information being shown on this History Info Pop-Up, the information being shown was quite confusing.

Solution:

Users are now able to view the Item Name on the History Information Pop-Up, within the Open Layer Maps.  The name is listed exactly as it is within the Device Setup.  Also, users are still able to see the name listed in the Tracking Information Pop-Up, just as they have always been able to.  Users will no longer need to perform extra verification to assure they are viewing the History for the correct Item.  This fix will influence all Users, using the Open Layer Maps.
